At the end of 6 years of studies, Victoria took a leap of faith and rented a bench in a traditional workshop, starting the bench-based way of working that she still does today. A move to a studio eyrie high up on South Molton Street in central London brought her into contact with cutting-edge fashion stores such as Browns and Dover Street Market where she became an in-house jeweller. She was also approached to develop jewellery and accessory collections for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Gieves & Hawkes, Hardy Amies, Burberry and Swarovski, while a commission from Net-a-Porter led to her working with iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld on his design for Masterpiece London in 2012 - a black-diamond studded collar typical of the one Lagerfeld made his personal style.
